Often time organizations are frustrated by their systems yet have not evaluated options to use it differently or more completely and have the answer to their needs in-house. 2nd - Off-the-shelf – where additional capabilities and capacity are required, a thorough search for a solution that meets the need without modification is performed. Although capable and proud of our customization projects, we recognize that the client’s best interest is in the fastest, most flexible long-term solution which is only occasionally a custom component. 3rd - Custom: Rapid/Stable/Breakable - the temptation is to want every component of an organization’s infrastructure to be a thoroughly refined ‘enterprise’ application. The cost and time required to develop these applications and the cost to maintain and refine them can be prohibitive. Our solution – discrete, affordable, nearly ad-hoc components that can be defined, developed, and implemented rapidly and affordably, depended on for as long as required and then replaced as quickly as appropriate. These afford the organization the opportunity to benefit quickly from the application while not limiting its ability to change as requirements are discovered or modified. 4th - Custom: Refined – where a component is core to the organization’s operations, is unique in objective, and is stable in design, a comprehensive ‘enterprise’ application may be appropriate.
