Stop Setting Goals If You Would Rather Solve Problems:  Perhaps the best chapters are those on interacting with those who are the opposite of you (Goal Setters / Problem Solvers).  Significant impact on how to speak the language and get the best from all of your people.

 

The Balanced Scorecard:  Translating Strategy Into Action: Very powerful review of the limitations of traditional accounting for day-to-day operations and strategy of organizations.  This book will challenge and inspire you to identify the key-indicators of your organization's performance and connect your strategy and compensation to them.

 

Selling To VITO: The Very Important Top Officer: Simple, common-sense (the rarest of all commodities) approach to getting to the point:  Sell Or Be Disqualified - anything else is a waste of time!  Worthy of anyone selling or supporting those who do.
